Legacies & Ear Hair

Our days are numbered. One of the primary goals in our lives should be to prepare for our last day. The Legacy we leave is not just in our possessions, but in the quality of our lives. What preparations should we be making now? The greatest waste in all of our Earth, which cannot be recycled or reclaimed, is our waste of the time given us on this Earth…..

How will we be remembered when finally we shuffle off this mortal coil – what will stand the test of time as memories fade – what creations will remain, what items or images will be discussed by those left behind to keep our essence alive…. Will it be something we’ve done consciously, some act we’ve undertaken with the sole intent and purpose of fashioning something to be specifically remembered or will it be something which emerges organically from what we do and who we are. Some personality trait or quality that everyone remembers?

Who is to say, could be both, could be neither – we’d all like to think folks will remember us – ideally for the good stuff…. but it’s entirely possible it could be for unpleasantness….. doesn’t matter…. our legacy, for the most part is completely out of our control.

Unless…

Unless you take charge, force the issue and do something to ensure you will always be remembered…. like….

.

Getting into Guinness World Records with the longest ear hair…. yes really……

Just be you – folks will remember and whatever will be will be….. according to Doris Day, who I’ve based most of my life decisions on…

Have a Great Day.
